General Banking Officer (OG-III)

The selected candidates will be responsible for managing branch operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting customer service activities, and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day banking functions.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage routine branch operations efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and internal banking policies.
• Support KYC and AML compliance procedures.
• Handle customer account opening and operational services.
• Process financial and non-financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain branch cash and vault operations.
• Perform balancing of branch accounts and general ledger heads.
• Monitor clearing, remittance, and inter-branch transactions.
• Handle ATM balancing and operational reconciliation.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain branch documentation and operational records.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Prepare operational reports within required timelines.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
• Candidates holding a Master’s degree will be given preference.
• Islamic Banking certification, diploma, or relevant specialization will be considered an added advantage.
